Let Yourself Blossom

The challenges of life can  affect us, they need not define us. We can choose, decide and act – and take control of our lives. Don’t let your past heartache and pain affect who you become.  Running away from problems is pointless or to pretend that things are fine when we're dealing with  problems. Facing reality, taking action will work to turn things around.  Being thankful sets us free . It inspires all that’s good and nurtures our relationships. Being ungrateful  can wear others down. It can destroy our spirit, and saps our energy.   Being angry and bitter, refusing to forgive and bearing grudges  will slowly affect our personality. Releasing them helps us  live a happy and fulfilling life.  Life rarely goes smoothly and according to plan – and people disappoint us and let us down. Accepting this is takes the tension out of life.  Relationships that are built on unconditional love and acceptance is a gift. - don’t take it for granted – recognise that it’s a gift.

Never taking risks. If we always play it safe, we’ll find we end up going nowhere. We must be ready and willing to take risks. If we don’t, we may regret the things we may  miss in life.

Psychotherapy wasn’t something I ever thought I would be looking for, but after going through a period of having emotional mood swings and feeling lost in my head, my friends advised me to seek some professional help.I did a simple internet search and found Kelly. At first I didn’t know what to expect and felt quite anxious about opening up to a stranger about very personal matters, but once my sessions began, Kelly made it so easy for me and I just talked about anything and everything. I never felt judged and our sessions were warm and friendly.

At times, it wasn’t easy as she dug deep, uncovered dark corners of my past and present and made me discuss issues that I had been avoiding. I worked hard during our sessions and found that nothing changes overnight when problems have been around for long time. Without Kelly’s support and guidance, I don’t believe I would have had the courage to face my problems. I feel like a new person, full of confidence - my life is back on track. I now feel like I have the right tools to manage the pain and unhappiness that brought me to therapy in the first place and I am eternally grateful to Kelly for her help.
